arcDESIGN is an energetic architectural + interiors firm located in downtown Indianapolis that provides an open studio learning environment. We will be looking to fill Summer Intern positions. This person(s) will be responsible for assisting with design, construction document production, and construction administration. Candidate must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple projects and tasks.

Required Skills Include:
Design Software: Basic knowledge in Revit, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and other 3D software is beneficial.
• Strong graphic design and/or photography abilities is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge about sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:
Work with the Project Leader, Project Architect and Interior Designer to understand the goals for the team and the project.
• Execute basic architectural and interior design assignments by receiving specific and detailed instruction.
• Prepares and modifies architectural documents, elevations, sections and details as directed by others using Revit.
• Develops design solutions following established standards and guidelines.
• Prepares 2D and 3D presentation materials.

Required Experience:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s degree program for architecture, interior design or related program.
Previous internship with an architectural or interior design firm or related firm is a plus.
